Shinder S. Thandi is a retired professor who has taught at the University of California, Santa Barbara (US) and Coventry University (UK). He has written extensively on the Sikh diaspora and its homeland relations. He is founder editor of the ‘Journal of Sikh and Punjab Studies’. His most recent publication is the edited volume ‘Agrarian Reform and Farmer Resistance in Punjab: Mobilization and Resilience’ (Routledge, 2023).
