Shinder S. Thandi is a retired professor who has taught at the University of California, Santa Barbara (US) and Coventry University (UK). He has written extensively on the Sikh diaspora and its homeland relations. He is founder editor of the ‘Journal of Sikh and Punjab Studies’.
