About Vichar Trust

The Vichar Trust was registered in 2018 as a charitable trust. It is the initiative of a group of concerned citizens.

Vichar Trust has an Income Tax certificate under Section 12A of the IT Act and enjoys 80G exemption on its donations.

It will be involved in education activities such as knowledge dissemination, publishing for students, teachers and others, conduct of workshops and provision of scholarships. `The India Forum` is its first activity.

The Vichar Trust depends on donations from its supporters and readers to meet its expenses.

It is governed by a Board of Trustees. A Council of Advisors works with the trustees.
